I had an interview this week on campus. It was very conversational. Covered the basics, why MBA, why Rice, Leadership. My interview lasted about 45-50mins.

@ Applicants from India: I am working on my RICE app. Need your inputs on following points: 1. Did you guys convert your bachelors score to a GPA using the evaluator's services mentioned on Rice's website? If yes, which one did you choose? 2. Do we need to send out the official transcripts to Rice or a scanned one would do at the application stage ? 3. How is RICE on scholarships? Cheers!

It was easy and affordable at 5$. But, Rice mentions that the process will be easier if you submit a evaluation proof from the agency. 2. Do we need to send out the official transcripts to Rice or a scanned one would do at the application stage ? Copies of Official Transcripts with university stamp. 3. How is RICE on scholarships? Good number of scholarships. However, for specific information on scholarships, contact Rice. Cheers!

Hi all, If candidates who have been interviewed over phone/skype could post their experiences, it would be really helpful. Current students at Rice, your views on the interview process would be highly appreciated.

I recieved a hand written note in the mail from the person who conducted my interview. I was very suprised to see this as I had not heard anyone talk about this in last years thread. I hope that is a positive sign. Has anyone else recieved a note or heard of this before?

Hi all I have applied to Rice R1 got an interview call, scheduled on 8th Dec.

Just got dome with a telephonic interview... Nice experience now time to wait for the results any idea how/when do they communicate results?

Why is this forum so quiet? Is everybody as nervous as I am waiting for the results from Rice, so nervous that you can't even express it?!!! I am trying to stop myself from obsessing about it... but can't help it! Please post on this forum as soon as you hear something! Good luck everyone!
