did anyone get off the waitlist? UT and Tepper worked for me but no news from Rice.
Could be yield protection or maybe they’ve already filled up their class for the year. But from what I’ve seen, Rice has gotten a lot more competitive lately. Even strong profiles are getting waitlisted or rejected.

Do we have to pay application fee? In application there is mention that application fee is waived round 1 applicants, but after submission of application it shows “awaiting payment”
