applied for r2.
i had an interview during the open house (which was before i submitted the application), and the interview was solely based on my resume.
one of the alumni conducted the interview. i guess there's a set of questions they need to ask the interviewee, and the questions were pretty much standard questions without any surprises.

Hi Simon applicants! FYI if you're applying through the Consortium Graduate Study in Management (CGSM), hop over to the Consortium 2012 Forum and Update Your Profile to reflect that you are applying through the Consortium.

It's simple. Just select your school as "Consortium, the", then indicate which specific institution(s) you'll be applying to and the Consortium round you'll be applying in. You can do all of this easily through the handy 'Add to Your Schools' link on the front page of the Consortium 2012 Forum.

I applied in R2 and received interview invite from SIMON. I'll have my interview in first week of January. Best of luck to you.

I had an interview before I submitted the application during Open House. I'm not sure how many are invited for the interviews, but I requested my interview (you could do that for Open House, not sure if that's still possible).

The interview was with an alum, solely based on the resume. It took me about half an hour. Standard questions. Go through the resume, strengths, weaknesses, all that stuff.

I too applied in R2 and received interview invite after 3-4 weeks. Interviewed with Director of admissions through skype video. It's been 2 weeks since interview. Getting restive.

Is there anyone R2 applicant who received Simon admit ?

Financial Times of London (January 2011)
• No. 5 in the world – Economics
• No. 6 in the world – Finance
• No. 26 among U.S. business schools

Bloomberg BusinessWeek (December 2010 & January 2011)
• No. 1 for Return on Investment (ROI) among U.S. private business schools
• No. 3 for Teamwork
• No. 5 for Analytical Skills
• No. 8 for Innovative Curriculum among U.S. business schools

Can anybody give me a reference to verify this information?
