Here is my status

Mine is the same.
It looks like the Adcom won't call until next week.
This wait is killing me. :x

Congrats Zilla! Great news.

Can you update your status as well on the "Consortium 2012 Calling All Applicants" Forum and also update your profile to reflect you applied through Consortium? (There is a new option in the profile settings that was added a week or two ago).

Quote:
The Johnson Admissions Office received all required documents for your application to our MBA program. We appreciate your patience as we review your application materials. We review each application twice before offering invitations to interview or providing final decisions

If an important update occurs during the review process, feel free to send an email update to XXXX (xxxx@cornell.edu). We look forward to reviewing your materials.

First off, congrats to all those who have been admitted so far.

It seems as if there's a trend at Cornell this year that a lot of the admissions interviews are by professors in the applicant's field of interest. Have any of you had an interview like this?

If so, are these interviews much more specific in nature because the professor has more industry knowledge in the area the student wants to study than the typical adcom?

Any thoughts on this are much appriciated.

Mine was with a member of AdCom, a professional reader to be exact. Then again, I'm a "non-traditional" applicant, so I guess they couldn't exactly match me with a specific professor.

Mine reads, "Interview Scheduled - We scheduled your interview for The Johnson School MBA program. Please contact the admissions office with any questions." But then I interviewed on Dec 3.

Mine was with a second year student. I am coming from real estate consulting and looking to go into strategy consulting... I don't think my goals are too unusual so I am not sure they are making serious efforts to pair students with interviewers in their field of interest.

Glad we're near the end of the waiting game!
