Despite a wonderful weekend at Discover and really enjoying the atmosphere of Owen, I just sent in an email declining my admission. The main reason is funding, I have absolutely nothing negative to say about the program, it is truly great and the people there are wonderful.

Congrats to all the students who have committed, I truly believe you're going to get a great experience and I look forward to interacting with you via whichever school I do commit to.

I'm glad that you have such positive thoughts on Owen...it's definitely reassuring. Sometimes you wonder if your interactions with people (adcom, students, alums, etc.) are unique and maybe you're not getting a true sense of the atmosphere, but I ALWAYS hear good things about the environment at Owen.

Good luck with your decision...

(BTW - I'm bummed I didn't get to make it out there this past weekend...I heard they were expecting a record number of people.)

They did have a record 150 guests include ms students. It was really great, I can't stress how impressive and fun the students they attract really I think I met like five people I wouldn't have been willing to hang out with haha.

It works out better for me that the money just wasn't there, if it was I would have had a really hard time picking.

I had an evaluative interview with Courtney one week ago, not that conversational. :(
I wonder when can I get the final decision? Do I need to wait some more weeks? The waiting is killing me...

I think it was about a month between the time I interviewed and when I got my decision...

My friend received waitlisted notification 6 weeks after interviewing. It's been 4 weeks since my interview. Waiting is killing me too. I just realized that skype interview is much better than phone one.

In online application system, school has asked me to 'accept or reject admission decision'. What exactly does that mean? Is it provisional approval from me or final? I haven't received my admission package yet. Or should I wait for my admission package to arrive, make a decision and then reply.

Still waiting on the official decision. The deadline for round 3 is approaching fast. 8 Days left. I check the MyOwen website about 25 times a day. I'm nervous. I really want that Vanderbilt mug.
