hey JeremyLin,
I would like to live somewhere close by the campus, but as an international student I would like to be cost effective. I heard that rents are $600 +, if the apartment is within 3 - 4 miles of the campus. Else we will have to move far.
What about you?

Can anyone throw more light on how do we go about the process of booking the apartments? websites or any links to best deals?
will really appreciate the help.

I believe all admitted students have link to Facebook group. We all are discussing housing options and plenty of links have been shared on the group. You can go through previous discussions.

We have also started with Google group to share housing information. You can find the same in facebook group.

Greetings!

Congrats to everyone who gained admission to Owen for the fall. I'm currently applying/interview for the Masters of Accounting program at Owen. I'm flying out there on Thursday/Friday to meet, tour and interview. I was have some trouble with one of the essays (#2) concerning the community at Owen and how I will add to that as a student. I'm having a bit of writer's block and was wondering if anyone could give me some ideas or wisdom that you used to write a really good essay.

HI, I am an Indian female engineer currently working as Electronics Instrumentation engineer in OIL & GAS consultancy PSU. With 2.5 year work ex. My GMAT score 700 (Q48, V38, IR 4, AWA 5.5). CLASS 10th : 88%, class 12th : 92 % . .Btech topper in college (TOP 10 colleges in India) GPA 3.4(9.3 OUT OF 10 SCALE, SO APPROXIMATED AS 3.4).Internship : STEEL AUTHORITY OF INDIA LTD (SAIL)(Durgapur)
ACHIEVEMENTS : 5th topper in CBSE from KOLKATA region in class 12th.Highest in maths & science score in kolkata region CBSE in class 10th. XAT 2014 percentile 94. Dropped the idea of studying in India, so didnt think to pursue it further.
EXTRA CURRICULARS : Graduate in Indian Classical Dance.
Part time dance teacher in one of the popular NGO in Delhi.
Is my profile good enough to apply for Vanderbilt for 2016??
