Quick question, is the IR before the quant and verbal? A bit confused as I read its order to be after the main quant/verbal sections in some manual recently. Could somebody confirm this?

Yes, IR comes after the essay and before Quant. See below for a summary of the changes and order of sections.

Thanks for the brief! :) Really useful info :) +1

How is MCAT's IR in par with GMAT IR? w.r.t the scores as well?

I find that MGMAT IR questions are significantly more difficult than GMAT Prep and OG13 IR. That being said, they make for excellent practice and IMO, are functional equivalents to the GMAT Club tests: questions that are super tough and tricky that go beyond the GMAT IR difficulty. I consistently score between 2-4 (raw score) on MGMAT IR and 6-7 in GMAT Prep IR. I can almost never finish the MGMAT IR's on time.

Anyways, thanks for posting this article. Moderators, I suggest transferring this post to the Integrated Reasoning section and converting it into a sticky.
