hey guys I just got admitted to Booth today. I was wondering if there is a facebook group/etc I can join to get brought up to speed. Also, does anyone know if 3rd rnd admits participate in random walk??

Congrats! Yes there is a facebook group and a google group email list. Plus some of the regions have set up regional facebook groups too (I set one up for the SF bay area). Scroll through the main facebook group news feed to see who is in your area that you can connect with.

When I spoke to the admissions officer yesterday, he told me that admits would receive all FB information by Friday.

Congrats! We can't wait to see you next fall! I have been busy trying to launch a startup during business school at Booth, so I haven't been around GMAT Club recently, but I would be happy to answer any questions you might have here. PM me if I can help.

As a side note, Cheetarah is not the only one looking for a roommate. I have a gorgeous large bedroom available in a 2 bedroom apartment at MPP starting September 1st and I am looking for a female roommate to share the apartment with. Side perks of living with GC veteran second-years include partying with other second-years and getting the inside spiel on startup life, classes, job search etc.

Separately, a lot of 2nd years, myself included, are going to be in the Bay area this summer. Ping me if you will be there as well and want to meet up.

Just paid my 1st deposit. I feel poorer but I definitely made the right choice.

As a second-year Booth student graduating next week, let me first wish everyone congratulations on your acceptance!!

If anyone is moving into/around MPP before the end of June and is looking for furniture, I am looking to sell an apartment full of good quality/good condition IKEA stuff (sofa, bed, bookshelves, dining table, etc.).

- I will be moving with a dog ( 70 lbs) - any recommendations on pet-friendly places close to campus?
