Does anybody have any knowledge about the odds of being admitted once making it to the interview round? E.g. 50% of people who get interviews end up getting accepted.
mcharb13I found this little snippet from an interview of Christine Sneva in 2012:
Quote:
What percentage of the pool do you interview?
We get about 2,200 applicants. We did about 700 to 800 interviews last year.
I calculate that is 31%-36% roughly. With an acceptance of
~29% ~22% that means that approximately
~80%-90% ~60%-70% of interviewees will get accepted.
These are however based on statements from the former senior admissions director in 2012. Christine I believe now heads up the Cornell Tech MBA and Ann Richards has taken over as Interim Senior Director. We also don't know how much application volume increases will change things. From another interview they've stated about 15%-20% increase in applications year over year recently.
