I got a response on 10/14 (Wed) for a phone interview. Has anyone else heard back yet? Not sure what to expect for this phone interview. It's also kinda interesting that they have 2 interview rounds.

I had my 1st round phone interview earlier this week, and was invited to an on-campus second round. Only info I have so far about second is that it will be a panel interview some point in the next 2-3 weeks.

1st round was with Jenna Abbott (Admissions coordinator). We dove straight in and it lasted all of 15 minutes. The questions, in no particular order:
-Tell me about yourself
-How do you keep abreast of tech industry news
-Tell me about a creative solution you devised
-Greatest strengths
-Why Cornell Tech
-Questions for me

PS. After lurking here for 2+ years, I thought it was time I finally contribute to the forum which has given me so much - this is my first post! Hello world :-D

If you can visit campus, they prefer you to. Otherwise I presume it will be a Skype interview.

This from the admission's blog https://www.johnson.cornell.edu/Full-Time-MBA/Admissions/Admissions-Blog/Post/78135/The-MBA-at-Cornell-NYC-Tech-is-different-and-so-is-the-admissions-process:
Stage #2: Candidates that show evidence of a strong academic history, technical sophistication, creativity and passion for continuous learning for the digital economy will be invited for a phone interview. The interview focuses on the technical details of your education, skills and experience, certifications and tools of expertise. The interview also focuses on your goals and fit with Cornell NYC Tech mission and initiatives.

Stage #3: The last step in this process is a second interview at the Cornell NYC Tech campus. This is a panel format that includes Admissions, Career Management, Johnson faculty member, and Cornell NYC Tech faculty member. The first half will focus on answering a case sent to candidates 24 hours before the interview. We are not looking for specifics but rather problem solving and decision making skills; how to prioritize and organize information; as well as ability to work within ambiguity. This is a great way for candidates to display their critical thinking skills and create a dialogue around their ideas. The second half will be questions about work experience and career plan. I believe having the right people in the room at this last stage of the process is essential for candidates to get their questions answered as well as perspective on how this program is very different.

I'm was invited to the 2nd round on-campus interview as well. The questions that IRBunny listed out are spot on. It's a very quick and comfortable phone interview.

I haven't heard since back since being invited for 2nd round. Waiting to hear what date/times will be available. Did you get an email with available slots or were you pointed to an online scheduling system?

I received an email asking me to schedule by email. It didn't mention specific time slots or an online scheduling system.

I called the office today and they mentioned that they will call me back tomorrow to followup on the exact dates / times.

I heard back after contacting them. Their interview dates that they suggested to me are 11/3 - 11/5 and 11/9, 11/10.

The interview will be an hour long.

Hope that helps

Hi guys, as of today, my application status is still "under review". Does this mean I'm gonna get dinged? or should I give them a call to see what's going on with my application?

Just received a status update mail. I was anticipating ding but to my surprise it was 'Schedule Interview'. I would really appreciate if anybody who is already interviewed clarify following doubt:
1)I could not see any scheduling system on portal. How to schedule the interview?
2)What is the turnaround time for the results of first and schedule of second interview?
3)What are the prompts of endorsement?

1)I could not see any scheduling system on portal. How to schedule the interview?

-They will send you a follow up email with dates and times. Don't worry

2)What is the turnaround time for the results of first and schedule of second interview?

-It was less than a week ~4-5 days

3)What are the prompts of endorsement?

-The "Recommendation" section in the portal
