Those who have been WLsted- you need to be proactive.

Johnson held a video chat past April regarding its waitlist. I can't post links (this system won't let me) but you can google it. It's called Everything You Need to Know about the Johnson Admissions Process

Also, I'm attaching a copy of Cornell's presentation regarding WL as well.

Best of luck guys!

P.S. Johnson has a great admissions team and getting off the waitlist is doable as long as you don't sit and do nothing.

P.P.S. If I'm not mistaken, Nichole no longer deals with WLs. So, I'd suggest that you contact the adcom to find out who the WL manager is.

In the PDF you posted it states that you have to fill out a wait list form.

Is that something that was only for last years group. I can not find anything from this year stating this, nor can I find the form. So, I am assuming we no longer have to fill this out....

Just want to make sure I'm not missing something.

We just had an online chat session with Eddie and Jade from Johnson admissions, they just confirmed that Nichole is still the waitlist manager. There was more information presented during the session, however you can email Nichole if you have more questions regarding the waitlist.

Has anyone scheduled an interview yet? What airport are you guys flying into? These tickets are going to be pricey. Good luck everyone

Guys from NYC can take the C2C bus to come to the campuse ($180 round trip). The tickets are sold out very quickly so please book early. Or you can take the shortline bus from the port authority...($100 round trip, but the buses smell bad)

They only way to fly in directy is through Ithaca airport, which is pricy. The other option is to fly to syracuse and rent a car to get here (~1hour drive), I guess...

Seriously it's $180 RT from NYC To Ithaca? Is that the same price for students? That's so much more than I had anticipated!

For Cornell registered students, it is $165. the bus is really nice, it takes you from 5th/44th to Cornell campus within 4 hours or so. Also it has free WIFI and a lot of free food and drinks...lol

Much cheaper than flying. this is the best way to get here from NYC.

There's a shortline bus from NYC to Ithaca as well for those that are more budget conscious.

However it may take a little longer (there's a brief stop in Binghampton I believe) and you'll have to find a ride from the bus station in downtown Ithaca up to campus.

dtse86: shortline bus stops at collegetown (either before or after downtown stop, depending on which bus you take) and its like 5min walk to Sage.

I would rather rent a car for a day and drive to Ithaca from NYC than pay $165 for the bus ride.

Ya, that works too. the commute here is not very convenient, to be honest.

From an earlier post, ~31%-36% get invited and of those about 60%-70% get admits.

Also, see posts from jlcardova, she's an admit from last year and check out the web for some Johnson interview tips. Clear admit has some pretty good interview reports for Johnson.

Good luck!

Thank you! when you said "the web" you meant on GMATCLUB? or somewhere else? I will check out clear admit. Thanks!

I meant google or if your in china I guess baidu.

There's a lot of info out there. Like jlcordova said, showing fit and that you've done your research on the school are important.
