Is there any information on what is the maximum word-count for job essays that will not go against you with Adcom.

My shortest job essay was 170 words (next step at same company), and longest was slightly over 400 (short/long term aspirations). I've been invited to interview so I think those word counts were ok. Make sure every word counts though. When you've cut it down all you can, give it to a friend/someone you trust to cut it down even more. Good luck!

Has anyone had their interviews already? I've scheduled one but the other alumni has not replied for 3 days. Wondering if I should let the AdCom know about this

I have one interview scheduled, my other interviewer doesn't reply either. I will wait 1 week for his response and then let AdCom know.

One of my interviewers replied saying she's available for the 20th of April to interview me, but when I asked for a place and time I got no response. The other didnt reply at all. I waited a week and sent a follow up to both yesterday, still haven't heard back. I've emailed CT asking for next steps.

Let me know what happens, I'm in a similar situation.

Haha there's a weird pattern here. I wonder if it's by design to check how we react to it lol.
I called my second interviewer and she said that she had seen my email and had marked it for action but hadn't gotten down to it yet. That was two days ago and I still haven't gotten a reply yet. Will send her a chaser next week

I am in the same situation.. one interviewer has not replied back at all and one has not replied back after commenting we will meet next week.

I am a R2 applicant and have a situation with respect to my recommendation. My manager was working on it and by mistake he submitted an incomplete recommendation. When I reassigned him as a recommender on the portal the the status on my dashboard changed from recommendation received to pending. My manager got the email to submit the reco similar to the first time and he could start working on it again. I wanted to know once he submits this recommendation will it overwrite the earlier incomplete one or will the adcom get both of them as a part of my application. Do I need to contact adcom for this?

R1 applicants: Do we have to submit our recos before the application deadline or any extra time is given for that?

In R1 they had given me till around 1 week after the deadline for all the recos to be submitted

I had my first interview in my home city with a relatively young alum last week. She worked for years in the US and then returned to India to start up her own venture. She took me to a nice restaurant, put me at ease and we ended up talking for a little under 90 minutes or so.
It was pretty conversational. She had only read through my resume once and was not carrying my application essays or my resume with her. So she asked me to refresh her memory about my background, which I took as an opportunity to walk her through my resume and my experience. Next, we went into details about the company I work for, its market position etc. about which she was not totally informed, discussed the challenges that I overcame at work. She also asked me about my accomplishment at my previous workplace. We then discussed my career goals and she probed me on whether I am interested in entrepreneurship. It was a googly question and I blabbered about an idea I had and we spent some 5 minutes on it.
Next, we spent some time on why MBA, (I have an unusual profile - I already have an MBA from a top 10 institute in India) and that needed some explanation. She also wanted to understand whether MBA is just a stepping stone to my next position and if so why can't I already move to my target industry given my experience and background.
Towards the end, she asked me what other schools did I apply to and how am I going to finance my MBA. And finally, she gave me an opportunity to ask her questions, where I probed her on her INSEAD experience and related stuff. Surprisingly, almost as an afterthought, she asked "Do you like to party? INSEAD is a party school!"
She mentioned that I shall have no problem with academics and that I should spend time on career events and networking at INSEAD.
I left with a good feeling about the interview. The next one is lined up fro today!

He folks. I had 2 interviews already. How do u think, for how long this waiting process is going to be? Are they about to send us enrollment email right before deadline or when? This waiting is truly killing me. Can't eat, can't sleep well, and so on.

Hi guys,

This is probably a stupid question but deadline for the 2nd round is the 20th of April

So does this mean that app needs to be done before 20th april 12am or do we have have entire april 20th until 1159pm to submit our application?

Also with the referees does it need to submitted before the deadline or do we get more time after the deadline?
