Hi all,

I was considering this intake, but I've heard INSEAD won't take older applicants. I'll be turning 33 by the time I start the program and I'm afraid that could be a reason for them to not accept me. Has anyone heard anything about age being a determining factor?

hugdor, from who did you hear such a thing?

Did you see the class age profile posted online? 15% over 31 years old.

Hello Farrous,

I am also bit skeptical on the age restrictions in Insead. One of my friends aged around 30 got rejected. From what I have heard from an existing student it is easier for candidates who are younger to get into consulting, therefore Insead prefers younger candidates.

I would really appreciate views of existing student on this.

Hi,

I am scouting for consultants to help me in the application process for INSEAD January 2018 intake. I am looking forward to apply in R2.

I have put in applications for a couple of US B-Schools and have interviewed with them (Results Awaited), however, I am very keen with INSEAD January intake, as it provides internship opportunities.

In terms of decision factors for choosing consutlants, their track record and cost are key elements.

Would request admitted students and other co-applicants to share their experience and help me choose the consultant.

Thanks for all the help and support.

My credentials -
GMAT - 730
Home Country - India
Work Exp - 7.3 yrs (At Matriculation)
Current Industry - Entrepreneur (Consulting)
Target Industry - Consulting

With all these INSEAD official posts it is starting to look this thread is coming to an end...

Hey Jonas! Did you finally get an invite? In either case, what was the latest date that you received the final decision from them? A friend of mine is waitlisted for January intake and hasn't recieved any notification from adcom.
