­Hi, I applied to ESADE in R3, got interviewed on Feb 30 and received my decision letter on 18 March. 

I have been waitlisted and wanted to understand how long does it typically take to get an admit after being put on the waitlist?
In a nutshell, when can i assume to have been rejected? :p

Hi Blair, I have admit from emory, cornell, and IE. ESADE ( waitlisted).

I can safely assume now, that being on a waitlist is more of luck game and that esade keeps students, especially Indians, on waitlist until it has received the perfect candidate its looking for, as i have talked to a few students who have given interview on a later date (than waitlisted candidates) and still got admitted within a week. While the school is replying that they have kept me on waitlist because no spots are left.

Hey thanks for sharing this. Did Donna respond to you? She hasn't replied to any of my mails. I guess ESADE waitlist is a rejection then.

Sure, and no worries if you can't find it out. I understand that if you still have a few days to decide, other applicants accepted in R3 might too. I'll keep waiting for a response while applying to other colleges.

So what I understood from current students is that 25 Indians have already accepted and their time they had around 34 Indians in the batch. There isn’t a cut off per se but the number hovers around the same

I got a response from Jessica stating that I've been put on waitlist because of unavailibilty of spots etc. so I guess atleast today I won't get a response on my admit.
