can you share a bit about your profile??
I've been working in Oil & Gas sector for past 5.5 years. Good professional and academic records. Music, football and adventures were my interests. (Being a fan of FC Barcelona helped me establish a good connect with my interviewer Donna, as she was also a Barcelona fan :D). First GMAT score was 670. I applied for ESADE R3 with that score. After application, I took GMAT again, got 700 and shared it to Adcom. I was interviewed on 01st February, and got waitlisted on 21st February. Finally, I got the good news on 15th April. :)
Congratulations!

Did you also get to know about your scholarship decision?

I've been placed in the waitlist for scholarship, got the mail today. Also received a mail stating that the scholarship budget for the year is almost exhausted and you may explore other funding options.

There were around 4 students(Indian) who got their admit few days back, so I think they still have some seats, depending on whether they accept the seat or not.
you mean the quota for indians is exhausted now and the waitlisted candidates have to depend whether some admitted candidates decline the offer??

How long does they give to accept the admit and can you send a screenshot of the application portal after receiving the admit?
They gave me around 2 weeks

No I don’t mean that, I only mean they have seats and are still admitting Indian students as well because 4 of them got admitted few days back..

Nothing yet, last week Thursday they had an application deadline, must be busy with that. Still, if anyone here does receive an update on their waitlist, do share.

How waitlist works?
Once a month, the Committee will convene to review applications from waitlisted candidates. Each month, a select number of candidates will be offered admission, while others whose profiles the Committee finds promising will remain on the waitlist for further evaluation. This process is necessary due to the high volume of applications ESADE receive.

Let's say, the upcoming decision committee is scheduled for Mar 18th. If you do not receive communication from ESADE by March 22nd, your application will automatically roll over to the April committee, and so forth.

If you are admitted to another school in the meantime, please inform ESADE and provide the deadline for your decision. Additionally, if there are any updates such as an improved GMAT score, please notify ESADE. Your admission coordinator will ensure that your comments are added to your file for review by the Committee at the next decision round.

How long should you anticipate waiting for the Waiting List outcome?
ESADE will extend the wait until the deadline for the second installment, which falls in mid-June. This grants you the opportunity to remain hopeful until the conclusion of June.

While awaiting a decision on the waitlist, consider these productive steps:
1. Enhance Your GMAT Score: Dedicate time to improving your GMAT score, potentially boosting your overall application competitiveness.
2. Pursue Pre-MBA Courses or Certifications: Engage in courses or certifications like PMP, Prince2, SixSigma, or ITIL to further develop your skills and demonstrate your commitment to professional growth.
3. Language Proficiency: Invest in learning Spanish, German, or the language relevant to your target country for career advancement and cultural integration. Target at least A1 level.
4. Explore Additional Pre-MBA Courses: Consider enrolling in additional pre-MBA courses to bolster your academic background and readiness for the MBA program.
5. Kindly prepare the necessary documents for the visa process. We've encountered instances where students successfully transitioned from the waiting list but faced delays in visa processing, leading to missed initial classes. Your timely preparation can mitigate such challenges.
