How much was your GMAT score?

Hi everyone,
I have got a GRE 314 and have 4.5 yrs of work ex mostly in sales and marketing in Indian startups

Can anyone tell if I am eligible to apply in Esade

While the average GRE score for admitted students is around 322, your score of 314 is within a reasonable range, though it is below the average. Esade evaluates applications holistically, they consider a variety of factors beyond just standardized test scores.

Work Ex:
Currently, I am in a leadership position at a leading fintech startup (total work experience of 5.5 years, at the same org and I have been promoted 3 times already). I am fairly connected with industry folks at the CXO level who would happily write a LOR.

EC:
I have been club lead/volunteer at a couple of college events but don’t have much to show in terms of extracurricular achievements.

Why MBA
I have a strong interest in consulting and plan to make a move there but cannot do so with out MBA from a league bschool

Hi Rishabh9199 , in the past a fair number of Indian applicants had been waitlisted and got off it, receiving an admission offer. The time frame of the final decisions varied from a week(post interview) to max. 2 months as well. Being placed on the ESADE MBA waitlist indicates that the adcoms sees potential in your application but is awaiting further developments before making a final decision. Historically, ESADE reviews waitlisted applications periodically, often aligning these reviews with subsequent application rounds. This means your application may be reassessed alongside new applicants in the next round. Good luck

Getting off the waitlist may take long. To improve your chances of getting off the waitlist, focus on strengthening your profile by enhancing your GMAT/GRE score, pursuing relevant certifications, taking pre-MBA courses, submitting meaningful career updates and leveraging your network to demonstrate commitment and growth.
