IMO C

(1) Ferdinand and Kris are the same age.
we don't know anything about kris age. Hence insuff.

(2) In 4 years, Kris will be twice as old as he was 10 years ago.
we will able to find kris age from this, but we don't know any relation between them. Hence insufficient

(1)+(2) together will solve the issue

(1) Ferdinand and Kris are the same age.
(2) In 4 years, Kris will be twice as old as he was 10 years ago.




Statement 1

Let's assume the age of Ferdinand = F and the age of Kris = K

So, F = K Insufficient

Statement 2

K+4 = 2(K-10)
K = 24  Insufficient

If we combine both statements we already know that the age of Ferdinand = the age of Kris
and from statement 2 we got the value of K So, Sufficient
                   
Hence, option C

Question: Age of Ferdinend = ?

STatement 1: F = K

NOT SUFFICIENT

Statement 2: k+4 = 2(k-10)
i.e. k = 24
Since there is no relation between ages of K and F therefore.

NOT SUFFICIENT

Combining the statements
F = K = 24
SUFFICIENT

Answer: Option C

Age right now=x
in 4 years= x+4
Kris will be twice as old as he was 10 years ago.
x+4=2(X-10)
x=24
