Not the race but nationality IMHO matters. To keep a reasonable diversity, the applicants are compared to others from the same nationality.

Indian in India ... waiting for invite ... not too optimistic as I could not attend their Info session ...

Any opinions on how big an impact it could make?

Attending an info session does not have any bearing on your application. It is a chance to get to know the school better specially if you cannot visit the campus in person. There is a tiny opportunity for you to create an impression with the admissions officer. But nothing significant. Your application is what matters.

Where did you get this information? Or are you speculating? I was an admissions director for a top 10 U.S. law school program. Enthusiasm and interest for the school and program are a few of factors we looked at.

Because speculating is fun...what time do the invites come out today? Noon as they did yesterday or 2pm as they did the first 2 days?

I am sure they are looked at. I am just saying it would be a tiny weightage. Just because someone couldn't attend the info session shouldn't get them dinged.
