You're telling me. After getting dinged at HBS I'm like freaking out that I'm going to get dinged at all of them. Just give me one early so I can stop freaking out!

100% identical experience here. I knew that HBS was a big reach but I felt pretty confident about my other applications going in. Got the ding from HBS and now I'm questioning myself about every part of every app that I submitted. Praying for any evidence that I did SOMETHING right...

If anything, they might send out based on work experience, I would bet money that they do not read applications based on race. (At least, I hope they don't.)

Not the race but nationality IMHO matters. To keep a reasonable diversity, the applicants are compared to others from the same nationality.
