Hey gang, firstly, good luck to everyone on the Fuqua waitlist.

Secondly, I have an embarrassing question. I checked my admission decision on my phone, which you can't do, so I never got to read the waitlist offer. All I could do was "accept" the waitlist offer. My question is what information was provided in the waitlist offer? Does it give any direction as to what or what not to do?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I believe all waitlisted candidates are pooled with R2 apps and reviewed again.

If you havn't noticed already, on Gmatclub 30are WLed while 40+ are admitted. That seems to me like an unusually high ratio. One of the consultants commented that its unusual and makes reduces the chances of getting off the list which in the first place is already too low.

True that ! Eitherways I m counting more on Ross and Yale invites where I was interviewed and then waitlisted rather than Duke where I am waitlisted without interview ! long process !!

Just finished R2 apps and now I'm focused on navigating the WL. Did anyone receive a WL counselor? If so, have they provided specific feedback?

I could be wrong, but I don't think we will get one for a little while. Since they say they look at our apps again in each round, we probably will go through at least the second, maybe third round decisions before hearing anything.

Do we really get a WL counselor? I didn't think Fuqua has counselors. At least, it was not indicated in the WL email received on the decision day.

And we will not get any decision until R2 decision day.

I also would like to review the waitlist offer letter again if anyone saved it.

Has anyone contacted an AO for feedback yet? I know some schools give it to WL candidates but I don't know if Fuqua is one of them.

how did you submit the letter of rec? add another recommender through the SISS portal? or do we have to mail it in or have our recommender send it to the adcom email? Thanks for the help

mbawaitlist@fuqua.duke.edu - I used this email address and sent the LoR directly to the school with my recommender's contact info.

I'm not sure if that is the preferred method as I haven't received any feedback from the school, but that is what I did.

I sent an update with a new GMAT score and a new course enrollment to mbawaitlist. I got a read receipt in gmail, but no response telling me a note was added to my file. Anyone else have the same problem? It would be nice to know my waitlist update didn't get lost in the shuffle.
