I sent my updates in as well and got a confirmation that it was uploaded to my file. Any idea on how many people from GC would get off the waitlist? Based on last year's data? Anyone know how the yield turned out to be for EA and Round 1 applicants this year? Just curious!

I never got a confirmation, so I might have to call to verify. As far as yield, my guess is that it might be lower than average. I think Duke expected it to be higher because of the Businessweek rankings, which explains why they admitted so few in R1, but the number of R2 applications, at least on this site, is actually way down from previous years. Not sure why, but it might mean our chances of getting off the waitlist are much higher than we expected.

I got into Johnson and invited to park fellows scholarship event, should I let fuqua know? I am getting mixed advice.

I really don't think so. Feedback is meant to give the admissions committee more info (updates) to help them form an clearer opinion about your candidacy. If you were into both schools, already had the Park money, and were looking for a Fuqua scholarship, then maybe it would be a good idea to mention Johnson. But right now, brandishing the Parks invitation amounts to saying that Fuqua made a mistake in waitlisting you because another school thought you were one of the best they had. And committees don't like to be told they made a mistake. Mentioning Park at this point might send the wrong message and hurt your chances of being accepted. Just my two cents.

Hope some of us receive good news on Friday...if I don't get off the WL this round I'll probably withdraw my app and go to one of the other schools I applied to in R2...that is, if I get in somewhere! BOL guys...

You've got a great option with Ross...I really enjoyed my visit. Did you submit any updates to Fuqua?

Nah. I was trying to line some more meaningful things up to let them know but they fell through. I'll probably do an additional LOR and a note of interest for the R3 decisions.
