Engineering Grad in Computer Science from one of India's best Engg School : Delhi College of Engineering.
Graduated in 2012 and have been working with Cadence Design Systems as an R&D engineer(Software) since then. Multiple projects internal and client requested earned my promotion. Showed the usual problem solving abilities engineers have and earned good appraisals.
Have shuffled part time with a start up let-me-drive that provides self drive vehicles. A part of the launch ,and some projects later about decreasing operational costs etc.
Have also tried my hand in the family business but left mid way as did not want to become a part of the family legacy. (Enjoyed working there though).
Have worked with WildLife SOS as a volunteer .
Looking at a career in Consulting (Business or Tech(IT))/Gen management/Operations Consulting
Could someone please suggest some schools that are reachable and would be willing to waive a good portion (50% or more) of my tuition fees ? Since i haven't earned much and economically it would be not possible to finance my mba on my own or with a big loan i would be happy to consider options beyond top 15..
Thanks in advance.
Hey there,
Great to hear from you Hey there, I’d love to help you out but without more info it’s gonna be hard. Where do you work? What do you do? How quickly have you advanced? Do you have any leadership? What are your great achievements? Do you have notable community service or extra curriculars? Which school did you graduate from?
All of these will play important roles in your evaluation.
what I can say for the moment, is that being an Indian-IT male from a non-IIT will likely make your school list about the 10-30 range. And if you are expecting or hoping for some scholarship, probably 20-50 range.
My personal advice would be to attend the better school, regardless of scholarship or not. It usually pays off.
Best,
Jon
