So much.....as is the correct idiom, especially in cases where negatives are used (read it the day before from American Heritage Dict)

Thanks, I am trying to move away from "feeling" for the right answer. I am trying to see what is being tested in each question, so that I can zero in on the right answer.

D is the right usage og IDIOM... 'SO... as'.
