Thanks workout looking forward to going through the application process with everyone here!
How is everyone doing with their applications?
Ion26 according the the Kellogg application under the interview section
Quote:
As part of the Kellogg application process, we offer all applicants the unique opportunity to request an interview. This stems from a desire to look beyond what we see on paper and learn more about you in person, which is why we strive to interview as many candidates as possible.
However it does not look like there is a guarantee that you will be interviewed. It appears to be on a first come first serve basis, based upon when you submit your application. Kellogg is even offering interview waivers due to such a large number of interview requests.

Hi all,
Just a heads up, Kellogg will be hosting "Full-Time MBA Program Ask Me Anything: Admissions". This would be a great opportunity to clarify any questions you have regarding the application process!
Kellogg has several events coming up in August and September. I would definitely suggest attending one to not only ask your questions, but also to network with some of Kellogg's admissions team.

For me, it's the video essay. Recording on the spot that too about things not already stated in the essays is a little tricky.
Yeah I feel the same way, I think if you've practiced for any college interviews, this should not be too difficult though.
Looking at what Kellogg says in their application "We've read your essays, we've read your resume — now we want you to bring all that to life in a video. Show us the person behind all those carefully crafted words", I don't think its a bad thing to use some of the topics from your essays, the goal of the video is to see the personality behind the essays. I know I've already made several revisions on my essays and while I believe my essays provide a holistic answer to the prompt, it's hard to showcase your full personality while keeping your essays below the word count. This video just gives you an opportunity to show Kellogg who will be showing up for the Fall 2021 semester.

Right now I’m trying to focus on my GMAT (sitting for it on the 3rd of September) It’s been quite a task Working full time and preparing for it.
The essay bit seems to be my “challenge” so far, but I’m certain I will figure out where to start from once I have my head all cleared out from the GMAT.

I guess the Round 1 deadlines are exactly a month away.
How are your applications coming along and what do you think is the most challenging part about the Kellogg application?

Good luck with your GMAT! How are you feeling? I take another GMAT next week, really trying to pop the 750 bubble both to help with admissions and (hopefully) scholarships.
What's challenging you on the essays?
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions! I'm definitely not a "pro" but I've written essays for 4 schools now and I think I've started to get the process down a bit haha
