It's been a while since I've posted in here, but it seems like just yesterday...

Congrats to all the first round admits! If anyone will be around the NYC area during the holidays, a few first years will be around and are looking to host a meet and greet. Details TBD. Otherwise I'm happy to answer any questions you guys might have in the meantime.

Seems like Tepper just waitlists everyone they don't like because they don't feel comfortable rejecting people. So many waitlists and no dings.

For those that got money (scholarship I guess?), is it detailed in the regular admissions letter? Or was that somewhere else?

Question about recommendation timeline: Yes, within one week. I submitted first round, and had one turned in the Sunday following the 10 October deadline, and it was accepted with no questions.

As for the question regarding salary data, I do not know. If it is confidential for some reason, I would indicate that in the application, and type zero in the salary - but only if you absolutely cannot disclose this data for some reason.

I am surprised to know that no one has reported getting calls. As far as I can see- most of the interview slots already look full in Mumbai. So I assumed that many would have already received calls. Anyhow, here goes my profile:

I received an automated confirmation through my email from Kelly Wilson 10 minutes after I submitted.

"Thank you for submitting your application to the Tepper MBA program at Carnegie Mellon University. We will begin processing it as soon as possible. "

Otherwise, my application status just says "submitted" as well.

I think they invite nearly 50% of the applicants and offer to 28%. finally only 14% seems to actually join the college.

Decided to join Tuck and decline an offer from Tepper. It was a very hard decision though. Hopefully this would open up a position to those on the WL.
