Hi,

I am thinking to apply to Smith (University of Maryland) within the second deadline. I have a few queries at this point in time.

1. What are the opportunities for scholarship at the school?
2. What extra-curricular activities does the school offer for the management students?
3. I could not find a list of hiring organizations in the employment report. Could you list down some prominent employers? What are the opportunities in IT field after graduating from Smith?

Nothing yet..The page just says that the application is under review..Last year they sent first round of invites in 3rd week of november i guess!!

FT applicant...I'm not sure when you applied but I applied super early so maybe they are going by first applications received? Too early to lose hope :)

My application portal now says "Please schedule an interview" but no invitation by email yet. :? Checked my spam too - but the Univ or Maryland emails never go to the spam folder in the first place.
Hmmmmm.... dunno if I should rejoice yet. :)

Got the interview invite yesterday. Because of work travel I won't be able to actually interview until mid-late Dec. I hate waiting that long, I'd rather get it over with.

Submitted my application on November 1 but the TOEFL score took about 15 days to report. Thus the application was marked Complete on 16ht November, what the heck.

Hope they still consider me for the first round.

No interview invite yet !!
