Just got the call about an hour ago! I'm also in the UK.

Definitely an adcom caller (I was driving and didn't catch the name) ... very familiar with my application. Followed up by a personalized e-mail from an adcom member w/ info tailored to my background.

Very classy, Haas.

Well that just made my evening! Got the call about half an hour ago in Texas. Stephanie was great and was very specific with what it was that sold them on me. Definitely extremely welcoming.

Don´t lose hope,

calls are being very specific and personal for each admitted candidate. It neccesarily takes time, and there are 2 days left.

Agreed, won't give up until the 15th, but my rational side know that I should expect WL or Ding..

You know, the tough thing to reconcile is just how quiet this forum has been this year. Its true across the board, not just with Haas. I wonder if that is symptomatic of a drop in applications this year?

So, its difficult to guesstimate where the adcomms are in their process of extending admissions offers (as in how far through they are)...

The trend is also different from last year, for what I've checked on the last thread: 1st day - international; 2nd day - US; 3rd day - mixed (but fewer invites)..

For those of you who have already received the call, do they tell you about any scholarship money at time of admission? I remember reading that upon admittance, we can then write extra essays for the scholarships, but was wondering if there was any money given out at the time of admission also.
