I see a few more have joined us. I'll create one anyhow.
Dinged at Stanford, Harvard, Wharton, and waitlisted at Haas. 770, 6.0, 8 first-time GMAT score. That test is really overrated! Fooled me into thinking I had a good chance.

Those are also competitive schools. I would remain optimistic, as you have a solid GMAT score. Did you apply anywhere for R2? Prepare for interviews!
Quick question - what does the status say on the page for the R2 applicants ... mine still says application received ... nothing about it being under review or anything ... just want to see what other people have ... thanks!

For what I've seen in Round 1 the status really doesn't matter.. When you receive an interview invitation your status will change so you can schedule an interview..

Mine is Application under Review--for those who are on the "received" boat, you'd also get an automated email letting you know that your application is complete and under review; I received one on the 15th, one week after submission.

It could be that you were so confident in your GMAT score that you neglected other parts of your app.
It may be worth hiring a consultant and giving it another go next year if you REALLY want to go to those schools.

Mine changed to under review yesterday, my app was missing an official translated transcript, which I faxed over yesterday. Once they've processed it, they changed my status to under review.
Okay so I just called the office, turns out they take up to 6 weeks to prepare each person's application so she said it could change as late as 3rd week of Feb.... said they still have a lot of applications to prepare for review so nothing to worry about Just wondering for Round 1 folks ... do the interview invites roll in as they decide or is it within a set time frame?
