And feeling quite like an idiot on top. If a 770 GMAT and the best two essays of those I submitted can't get me an interview, or get me waitlisted - then I either made some silly error, or my profile just isn't good enough. Which means that's pretty much the final verdict for my 2013 applications.


Apologies for the rant. Nonetheless, honest congratulations to those who made it!

Don't be discouraged. YOu have to realize there are so many ridiculously accomplished people who apply to Harvard, and even more that self select out of the applicant pool. It's the biggest reason I decided not to apply.

Just got the rejection letter from HBS.
And no news from anywhere else as well , so guessing that will be it there as well. Can't say am not dissapointed.
But I guess noone is just willing to give me a chance , wasted so much hard earned monies at a point when I'm about to be jobless soon .

After seeing the stats of you other fine folks that were dinged as well, I don't feel bad at all, there are some brilliant people here that didn't get interviews. Don't get down on yourselves, success is not defined by a Harvard degree. Thankfully for me I applied for 2+2, so I have some time to build my profile and apply to a range of schools in a couple years. Keep your heads up guys. To those invited to interviews, great job, you worked you tails off and you deserve it, best wishes
