I had the same question when I submitted my WL updates, and honestly I think it's probably a good idea regardless. Yes the format is not idea, yes it takes getting used to. But if you know what you want to say and can do so quickly, it probably shows the school you have more interest? That's just my take. I was also WL-ed after the interview, but chose to the video anyways to really hit on WHY mccombs was the place for me.
