I wouldn't lose hope quite yet. July 3rd is the day deposits are due for the recent round of waitlist acceptances. You never know, a couple of those people could end up choosing elsewhere. Personally, I would reach out to the adcom ASAP and tell them how much you want to go to Texas. At this point, there's only a month left and they need those acceptances (and deposits). You're obviously a worthy candidate if you're still on the waitlist. If they know for a fact you'll go to Texas if accepted, it might be the difference between them selecting you versus someone else on the waitlist. Even if you've already mentioned it in an update or call, I would continue to reiterate it. That's what I did.
