Just received another waitlist update from McCombs. They asked to schedule a 15 minute phone interview prior to June 7.

Since their "early May" estimate ended up being May 10th, this seems to indicate that the "early June" update will likely be around Monday June 10. Anyone else receive an email?

I got the same thing. This message board makes me want to think that this conversation is merely for them to make sure that we'll say yes if formally accepted, but I don't want to set myself up for disappointment. I guess we'll see.

I got an email asking if I would be willing to catch with someone from admissions for 15 minutes about my application. I have the "interview" on monday. Did anyone else get this?

Good to hear that. Can you tell what was discussed in this interview and who from the admissions committee talked to you as part of this phone conversation?

I had my call with a member from the adcom today. After discussing updates and my interest in the program, she told me that she expects the adcom will have final decisions sometime in mid-June with a slim possibility that decisions could be delayed further into the summer (someone please shoot me if this happens). FWIW, She thought the week of 6/17 was more likely than next week.

Interesting...thanks for the info. I also had the call with admissions but I was told that decisions would be made toward the end of next week. There was no mention of it taking any longer than that, and I really hope things are wrapped up soon.

I had the video interview back in late January (but I was a R1 WL, so that may be why). I had my call yesterday; only 5 minutes long. they said to expect to hear something next week.

That sounds pretty similar to my call. I was a R2 waitlist, and yes I did the video interview as well.

Thanks for the congratulations! Yes, I've put in a deposit at Jones but the main factor is that I was also offered a really large scholarship.

Forgot to post this here (posted in the main McCombs thread), but...

Just got an email from admissions saying I am now officially declined (and it's updated on the online system as well). I was R2 waitlist with interview.

Oh well, back to waiting on the Ross waitlist, and if not there either, potentially next year. Good luck everyboday
