Let's take these questions in a more natural order:

Not at all. The most recent intake had an 80% range of 606-740 with an average of 677. About 30-40% of your classmates would have had your score or lower.

Possibly. As could the other areas of your app. A below school average GMAT score should be accompanied by as strong as possible transcripts, essays, extras, recommendations and interview.

If you feel you could do significantly better then certainly. The good news for you is that you have plenty of time to study and retake without sacrificing time on your essays so you're in a good spot here man.

thx for the input Rexman. That's the tempting factor, I know my max is a 680, MAYBE a 690; however, there's a 50/50 chance that if I retake I might get a lower score. I don't know if I lower score the second time around might affect my profile overall. Your words provide good input, im just trying to hear all perspectives before taking the GMAT again. Kudos mate

I think GMAT score makes more difference for international applicants. Your score is above average and I believe you do not need to retake the exam. If you have time to practice and motivation for a higher score, then why not. But the application process is tiring especially if you are working and planning to apply several schools. I would suggest that do not delay it if you decide to retake.

Do you think so? In the feedback e-mail they told me that they will be considering the waitlisted applicants(international) until the end of May. Therefore we may wait until the end of the month. Anyway the stressful waiting is coming to an end. Please post here with the good news!

Yes, receiving decisions by the end of May seem very realistic. I would say that we should be getting our notifications within the next three weeks or so. I cannot say for sure, but that is just my feeling.

Has anyone heard from Re Vera about completion of the process yet? Mine started 2 month ago, and the last time i heard from them was a month a go for information regarding HR phone number. They did say it was the only thing they needed to close my file, but haven't heard from them since...

Yesterday I called the adcom and got some information. She told me that they will release the decision regarding international waitlisted applicants in this or next week. It seems we will be hearing soon. She also said that there are some seats available. Best wishes to those who are still waiting!

Hello does any wait-listed one receive any news from the office?
The admission officer said international students will still be reviewed through end of May, and it's June already but my decision is still remained the same on OPUS...bad news is fine for me but please at least let me know the final decision....
