Scratch that, just checked the application portal again. I missed it before, but there was a line that said "An update to your application status was posted on 12/19" and a link. I got dinged. Oh well, on to the next!

applied 11/28, heard back today with a rejection... just wanted to wish everyone success as you wait for responses (and provide visibility to my submission/response timeline)

does anyone know if the admissions committee will provide feedback on my application if i ask for it?


GMAT 690, 5yrs WE (M&A consulting), 3.3 GPA from "Tier 1" university

My understanding is that this is essentially never provided.

Just for the information of the broader community, it appears that the R2 deadline has been extended due to inclement weather. Here's the tweet from CBS:

MBA Admissions will be closed tomorrow due to inclement weather. We are extending the merit based fellowship deadline to Wednesday January 8. Please let us know if you have any questions!

Invited to Interview: 12/19
Interviewed: 12/23
Feedback Submitted: 12/24
Accepted: 01/06

I need to ask sometihng. I just submitted my application today for the January deadline. i haven't got gmat to send them my gmat score yet.

1. is it required to be sent to them officially?
2. can i do it now?

Congrats! When they called they told you about the merit scholarship? Just wondering if there was no mention during the call if that means no scholarship.

You can always send the official score report to Adcom when you've it but for now your're supposed to upload unofficial score report and I assume you did it otherwise application would have thrown an error message...!

BTW, if you've selected CBS as one of your 5 schools where the official GMAT score is to be reported then automatically GMAC will send it to the school within 20 days from your test day.

Admitted today. I got an email at around 6am Singapore time (5pm Eastern) asking if I was awake. (I was, because I was planning to hit the gym.) Confirmed that I was, and got a call from Columbia congratulating me on being admitted with a fellowship.

For those who are keeping track of such things, application submitted on Oct 9, last recommender sent his recommendation in on Nov 30, invited to interview on Dec 27, interviewed on Dec 30 (interviewer feedback submitted Dec 30) and admitted on Jan 8 (Eastern time).

Submitted for Regular decision. So it looks like about 6 weeks for the interview invites. Thanks for sharing your timelines with the rest of us.
