Hey guys...good luck to everyone!!
Also did you use any professional service for essay help on Haas essays. I know the services available but want to know if anyone amongst the 66 people listed here used them. Just want to know how long it took ya with some help.
In one of my class visits, I was explicitly told by one of the adcom members that they can sniff out applications prepared by admissions consultants. They said that the key is to be honest in your essays and write what it is you want the school to know about you, not what they want to hear.
Also once you have your resume ready, I'd suggest to use the free 30 minutes of consulting that a lot of the admissions consulting companies offer and have them review your resume. I found it very useful and even in that short period of time they gave me tips that helped me. Just make sure that you are well prepared before talking to them. Have your answers to short-term/long-term goals, why MBA, why now etc. ready.
