Was waitlisted on round 1 and still waitlisted.

Hi, does anyone know if Tuck negotiates scholarships? I have a significantly higher scholarship offer, from another top 10 BS, but Tuck is my dream school!

I believe they do (info from current student)

I sent a request yesterday, and they responded hours ago saying that they do not have funds, but maybe in the future, if new funds are available, they will reach out. Should this be taken as a rejection?

 

­I contacted my assigned officer (available from your admitted students page) & was asked to fill up a form. Received a confirmation email immediately after, acknowledging that they have received my request.

I did not receive any email after & had to wait almost 1.5 months before I got a positive reply. Personally, I would not take it as a rejection just yet as they are still in the midst of confirming the class. There might be some funds available when some admitted students decide not to attend Tuck. I suppose a follow up after 2-3 weeks or when you receive major updates (i.e., admissions to other programs with scholarships) will do you no harm as well.

hey guys I want to share something I just spoke with to Tuck admission

if you are in R2 admit and are hoping to do scholarship reconsideration

tuck said they won’t look at it until after deposit deadline

so if you are hoping that process will help with your enrollment deadline, it won’t unfortunately

DId any other WL candidates get an update on 3/27 asking them to submit more materials?

I did, they want a more complete explanation of everything I’ve been up to since hitting submit. I was waitlisted
