So, you're saying that if they admit 50% of the people. And, you have received a request for an interview, that you have a BETTER than 50% chance of getting into Georgetown.

That should be cause for a mild celebration for those who have received the invitation.

Well it would make sense if they don't interview everyone and since they're by request I don't see why they would.

FWIW, I was among the first to be invited for an interview (about a week after the R1 deadline) and I was waitlisted!

That happened to me at Tepper. I really read a little too much about getting an invite early (2 days later in fact) and got waitlisted.

Done with my GSB interview today by skype.
Did anybody receive email after the interview?

QUestion:
I Just had my interview today.
Question:
Walk me through resume?
Why MBA?
Why Mc Donough?
Leadership style?
As team member, tell a time you contribute to the team experience?

Got an email the second day after interview, stated: "I hope you enjoyed your interview and the opportunity to learn more about the Georgetown MBA Program. Provided your application is complete and all required documents have been received, you will be informed of your admissions decision on the next decision notification date."

I also asked during the interview and was told that the result will be out all at the same time on the notification date. Hope that helps :)

When they said "contribute to the team experience" does it mean how you solved a problem or is less tangible and it's a measure of your soft skills and what kind of cool person you are? The word "experience" is throwing me off.

I think this question is opened. Answer could be time when you solved conflict, or made a good suggestion for team success, or showcased leadership skills.
Right after this question, they asked for my leadership style. Hope this help

The interviewer gave me his email address, not on demand.
Is this a good sign?
These 7 weeks will be very long.

Thanks! Tough question, I'll have to think about this one. Good to know, but adds a lot of stress. :(

Do you guys generally email your interviewer thank you notes? My interviewer never shared his email with me so I have no way in getting in contact with him...

He was a current MBA student. I didn't get a business card or anything either so I have no idea how to look him up. I could email the general MBA Admissions email address and find out that way.

I found out my interviewer's name at the MBA admissions office prior to my interview. It was an on-site interview. I didn't get the e-mail, but I found out my interviewer's name through the Georgetown person directory. I sent a thank you note through the e-mail system. You won't get an exact e-mail due to privacy but the system worked for me. I got a reply from my interview a day later.
