Interviewed today in Mumbai by Iolani ( Assistant Director - Admissions )
It was blind. nothing off track. ST, LT goals , why MBA ? , Why McDonough etc.
only thing troubling me is that is was too short for a personal interview ( 22 min )

Short interviews seem to be my trademark for the season...lol

Hey, what time were you interviewed? I too had my interview conducted at Mumbai by Iolani.
morning 10.30 at the Taj . how long did your interview go on for ?

Interviewed on Friday with a student who was very friendly. The interview itself was more of a conversation, by far the most relaxed of any b school interview I've been on. Lasted about 30 minutes.

Interesting, mine was more formal than I expected.

Their R1 deposit due date was 15th Feb - so I expect the AdCom to start getting more active soon!

Let's hope so. This thread has been quite dead for some time now!

If anyone interviewed with Shari Hubert, could you tell me how she conducted the interview and some of the questions she asked? I would greatly appreciate it, Thanks!

Has anyone been following up with Gtown? I had my interview last month -- I'm thinking of following up and just reaffirming my interest in the program. Or just wait it out until decision day?

Unfortunately, I don't have any specific person to email.

The thank you that you sent to your interviewer should have done enough to indicate your interest in the program. Unless you have a specific question, I would not recommend contacting admissions, but I'm certainly no expert.

Hi Marcg153, I had my interview with Shari last Friday. She was really nice and the interview was about 45-50 minutes. The questions are pretty similar to all the other questions shared in this thread. A few unique ones are:
1. Your strength and weakness
2. What you would start to do, stop to do and continue to do after you get in Georgetown.
3. Tell a situation where you had to provide your peer constructive feedback.
4. Tell a failure, why you think you failed and how you can improve.

All the other questions are similar to the ones shared here already. Good luck! =]

Geez, glad I didn't get her. Talk about an unusual question. I have no idea how I would answer that.

My most unusual question was "what was the best piece of advice you ever received?"

I had 3 questions and I would appreciate it if someone answers,
When does the final decision for people who interviewed on R2 comes out?
If you get admitted do they call you on mobile or work phone?
Do they call your recommenders?

20th March is the R2 decision date, I believe.
They'll call you on your phone if possible - IF you are admitted. In any case you'll receive an email too.

No, they won't call/email your recommenders unless they need further clarifications.

Thank you for your quick reply, and I wish you luck on the waitlist.
Do you mean all of the decisions go out on 20th or is it possible to get an answer up to 20th?
