I spoke with a student and she said that most of the students at McDonough just came up something at the end last minute, it didn't sound that important. That's when I breathed a sigh of relief.

So March 20th isn't when everyone will get a call or e-mail, it's just the last day? Also, I assume you can still get an acceptance on the 20th, they're not leaving that date for all the rejects and waitlists are they?

I actually think March 20th is the first official day they start sending out decisions. They might start a day or two earlier though.

Ugh, that's terrible, so I may not get any decision on Thursday. BTW, I keep writing "December 20th". I'm still in R2 mode.

After the gutwrenching 2 days of waiting on ross, then having my username for their system not work only to find out i was waitlisted, it would be AMAZING to get an early decision from McDonough and know that i will be in school. But odds are probably high that it will be another tumultuous couple of days until thursday.

Round 1 phone calls came the week prior to the decision release date. I was startled when I received mine, as I hadn't been expecting them to start so early.

Just to clear up any confusion...March 20 is indeed the deadline...not the beginning of notifications. You will be notified on or before March 20 of the decision. If they choose to call admitted students after that date to be more personable that is definitely a possibility. However, your status with McDonough will already be decided and made known to you on the site or by e-mail if that is the case (and you haven't already received a call).
