Has anyone been able to get into the Chat that is supposed to start now?
Also, VikramMukhi, I plan on using the extended deadline, but I live in downtown NYC so I have a pretty valid case since we were without power last week. Not sure where you are located, but me personally, I wouldn't use it unless you are from an area actually impacted by the storm. Though I guess you could say you happened to be traveling in the East at the time.
Well, never had any luck getting into the chat. Wanted to ask for clarification about Essay 2. The two paths. What do you guys think: can your short term goal be the same, but then your long term path be different?
And VikramMukhi, after thinking about this a little more, if they responded with that, then I would assume you could use the extended deadline and won't be penalized. It's not like they are going to review it during the week after the original deadline anyways. My initial feeling was just that it only takes a few hours to research online and have your call, and at this point there is a week until the deadline, so plenty of time to do those things. You probably would have had time to do the bulk of your essays and then just fill in that other stuff you gleaned from your research. While people without power wouldn't have been able to even write their essays at all. But, if they didn't specify that they had to be people geographically disrupted by Sandy, then you are probably ok to use the extension.
