I put my deposit in and everything a week and a half ago, but still haven't received anything yet on Pre-View Weekend...

Declined after an interview. By my count, that makes me only the second.

With a WL from Tuck and a decline from Stern.... I'm only batting 1/4 of my interviews right now. Makes me wonder what I've been screwing up...

Last year, someone reported an invite on March 30th, so yes, invites really do go up until the last day.

Only about 1 week left and you'll all hear something, whether than be an invite, WL, or ding. I expect there to be a lot of movement next week, as I still think it'd be cruel to release results on April Fool's Day.

Well at least you have an acceptance. Will you go to McCombs do you think or are you waiting on other schools?

Hi folks,

I was interviewed last Thursday in London and have a few questions. Does someone have an idea when I could expect an answer from Stern? Is it possible to be dinged after having been selected for the interview? I mean I already had to give them my transcripts and they gave me documents related to the future clubs I could be involved... They are behaving as I was already in...

Congratulations on finishing your interview! You should hear back in 2-3 weeks but some people do hear back earlier. Giving them transcripts and receiving club information is what happens for everyone interviewed. You can still be dinged or waitlisted after the interview so don't count on an acceptance until you see it in writing.

Actually I understand that I cannot be sure to be accepted but what I wanted to know is whether the conversion ratio (accepted/interviewed) is high?
I feel like it should be high regarding the way they behave but maybe I am wrong I dont know :)...

Yes you do have a good shot, I'd say around 40 to 50%.

Ok thank you!!! I will cross everything I can then! :p

Just a last question... one of my friends has just been accepted at NYU and he received an email saying that it will take three weeks to verify that all information in the application were correct. Do you know what they verify exactly? If I am accepted to NYU I will have to turn down quickly IESE's offer so I was wondering if NYU withdraws admissions sometimes for any reason and if I had not better to pay my commitment fee to IESE anyway (5k... :s).

Just got wait-listed. The WL letter says that they might take until August! If waiting this long wasn't taxing enough! But I suppose a WL is better than a ding.
