The level of difficulty of those questions is higher than that of questions in GMAT prep or in OG; therefore the rating is a little bit lenient for test takers.
Again, no idea for verbal test :)

Quant Test: Do it and learn from it, I believe that you won't be disappointed. The questions' quality is really great.
Verbal test: I have no idea, because quality of verbal test is not as great as that of quant test. If you have time, try it.

ok gr8..and what about the scoring of both these sections..any idea?
i got an unusually high score of 48 in quant despite getting only 24 correct

The robust score of 48 in quant despite only 24 correct is because of the difficulty of GMATCLUB tests. They are the most difficult tests in the market. So if you can get 24 correct on GMAT CLUB tests, you will perform near to 48 in the real GMAT.

this is crazy,
i gave it today and 29 right questions got me a 49
guess a difference of 5 questions can improve the score with just 1 point
Well, i'll say questions are not difficult, syllabus is somewhat different from actual gmat tests. You wont get this many(or any) questions based on functions. I din't see a single one in gmat softprep.

Just a piece of cautionary advice. I see a lot of people study really 'difficult' questions and then miss on some of the fundamentals when taking exams. You want an exam that is representative of what the GMAT is going to give you, and that typically comes from practicing questions that are not hard in a calculation sense, but test your reasoning. After all, the name of every section on the GMAT includes 'reasoning' - it's what the exam tests.

I will second what Jim has to say, don't obsess over doing questions that are hard and beyond GMAT difficulty. The best is to practice with official GMAT questions that reflect the real test. GMAT questions for the most part are not difficult, however they are not easy to do under time and pressure, there are a lot of details you have to keep in mind and also not allow yourself to get entangled in the problem.

I have been struggling to complete the GMAT Club Tests in time mostly because I know these questions are great and I want to give a fair shot to each questions. In doing so, I couldn't solve last 4-5 questions in my last 2 tests. I dont know how should I take this. I dont have such severe deficit on mocks I have taken. Is there any hidden timing issue with me? In my last two tests I scored a 49 and 51, even though I got 11 and 7 wrong. This is also not true depiction of actual GMAT scores. I am pretty sure 11 wrong would get me a 47 or 46 in GMAT. However I would wish to hear others opine on this.

Thanks.
