Hey, sorry for late response, just checked with my recs, and they said they haven't received upload links!!!

I am hoping that it will be sent today as it is a business day! Have you sorted out your recommendations?

Did your recommenders get the link? How long after your status changed to posted did they receive it?

Just checked that last year, by this time we only had 10 posts :-)

So INSEAD ers are not dormant! They are just not active yet
I am sure this will be flocked by people whose next hideout will be France/Singapore!

All the best to the applicants!

I think it was one day after it changed to posted. I checked INSEAD's website for the deadline and it seems they have extended it to the 7th!!!!

Guys, nobody mentioned it here on this thread, but I guess many of you already know that the R1 deadline has been postponed to October, 7 - just wanted to drop a line here for the sake of all the applicants...

I submitted my app on September 30th, but I'm waiting for my recommenders to finish their forms.

I am able to log in as I normally do.

Davide - where does it say about the postponement of the deadline? I haven't seen it anywhere on the INSEAD website...

Right here https://mba.insead.edu/admissions/

More precisely:

We understand that the Application Online system has been unstable for a number of hours. Consequently, we would like to inform you that we have decided to exceptionally extend the deadline to October 7, 2013 (23:59 French time). We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused.

Hope this helps.

Submitted ! My First !

Feels just like a load has been off my back. Guess in couple of days as the idea sinks in, thoughts about result will start making me nervous again.

Submitted! Phew!! That was one long application! My head feels so light :)

I am assuming, this will extend the interview notification date as well by 1 week.

Congrats guys. I am going for R2. The essays are so much, I don't even know where yo start from. It is good to know that I am not a lone in the journey.

I understand that it's daunting when you're staring down the seven essays. But you have to look on the bright side:

First off, INSEAD doesn't do any of those pesky additional text boxes that most apps seem to be fond of. In other words, the seven essays (some of which are fairly short) constitute all the writing you'll do for this one. Secondly, you'll see that once you start writing and the ideas begin to flow, you'll have a much easier time of it; in fact, I think most of us struggled to stay within the word limit once we got moving! Not that I'm an expert, but I found the process to be pleasantly introspective and, ultimately, a lot of fun! Just relax and be yourself.

Thank you so much. I am already loving the helpful spirit of the INSEADer. Great to know you are a potential classmate... :-D

There are 7 essays, and it took me almost a month to get everything together, but it was worth it, I had fun doing this app. Really really hoping to get in. Can any1 tell me about significant career oppurtunity differences between Sep intake n Jan intake? Will not getting an internship affect my chances for a good job in consulting? I am out of the 80% bracket in both GPA and GMAT(on the good side!!).
