For Practice what will you recommend to me for Quants. I have already done my OG.

What can be good source of practice questions for Quant.

None other than gmat club tests! These are fantastic & are developed for persons getting 44-45 & want to have a Q 48-50.

I have given all the gmatclub tests ,and I highly recommend you to give. But it all depends upon how much time do you have. Number of tests attempted is not important, but number of concepts learnt from test is.

Make sure you review them properly especially DS questions.

In the initial tests i was scoring above average on gc tests only because of DS. Now in all my recent tests score is quite good. I hope I carry it in the exam too.

The DS questions are really great. You will learn how to reduce your errors. Once you reduce your errors, your score will improve. But do not give any test before completing the quant theory.

Hi Hussain,

I just wrote GMAT club test 1 and could get 23 correct 26 percentile only. I was able to complete the test in 59 mins only and I was feeling that I was doing quite well. But it totally screwed up. Would you like to comment on my performace and advise if any.

Hi prashan, I think you should not worry at the score of 23 as this was your first attempt. Just take another gmat club test with complete focus. Also, dont try to run through the questions. Draw a time schedule & comply that. After doing 3-4 club tests, your performance will indicate your real abilities.

I am attaching a standard time schedule for your convinience.

Hi Hussain,

Ur preparation schedule is really inspiring. You told that you were getting around 25-27 corect in the verbal sets.

I have done from 21-30 but am constantly getting only around 20 correct.

Could you suggest me any way out of it to improve my hit-rate??

I find RC as a problem for me and am working on it. But even after working for sometime there is no significant improvement in the hit rate.

Plz Help :)

Thanks

Hi, thanks for the comments.

Have you gone through this wonderful guide by bb? gmat-club-s-reading-comprehension-strategy-guide-83101.html

Also, I loved Gin's approach for RC. I am attaching Gin's Guide, hope that will help. "Concentration while reading the passage" is the key & practice leads to this concentration.

Best of luck.
