I hope you mean 1/16. I submitted my application right before the 1/15 11:59 pm PT deadline which resulted in the date being 1/16 due to the Eastern Time time stamp. Received an interview invite so that means my application was definitely reviewed in this current round.

If you really do have a 1/17 submission date, I'm sorry to say but you're probably out of luck for R2 and into R3. But that would also mean you have plenty of more time to receive an interview invite!

interview report:

just had an interview this past Saturday for the FT program

It was with a 1st-year student whom I had actually met before

I was flabbergasted that they let 1st-years interview!

Threw me off totally.

Boilerplate questions.

why mba?
why usc?
what is your leadership style?
what would others say about your leadership style?
name one challenge you faced in your prof career.

I was still in utter shock that I was interviewing with a first-year, I probably bombed this interview really bad (does not help that the day before I stepped off a 14 h plane ride).

Good luck to anybody else who is applying to Marshall. It's a great school if you want to be in LA.

It's okay man, it's our nature to be extremely hard on ourselves post-interview. I'm sure it did not go as bad as you think.

I got an interview invitation on Feb 24 asking what dates/times I would prefer to interview, the first option being 2/28 and the second 3/7. I replied with my preferences fairly quickly per the instructions but have not received a response indicating my interview time. Anybody have a similar experience? I don't mind calling them, but didn't want to rush them either...

had the same issue and didn't get a date (not any of the ones offered or that i picked) till i emailed them.... i think they got so many emails it is very possible they "lose" some

Hey everybody. I just sent an email to adcom (regarding the interview timings) as I had not heard from them for three days. They reply promptly, be sure of that. good thing for march 12-20 interview slot is that ppl should get timing email by this weekend.

Just a few days more. :)

Agreed. I just emailed them and got a response a couple minutes later with my interview information.

You mean you applied R1 and haven't heard anything back? That's odd...I would definitely call them. Has your status changed online or anything?
