This is just speculation from my perspective but it appears that Marshall's overall interview scheduling process appears very manual. I coordinated directly with their administrative assistant via email to schedule and confirm the interview. If we assume that USC interviews about 50% of their total applicants, they need to communicate with 700 to 800 individuals, a daunting administrative process.
Unlike other schools that will just blast out invitations to large batch of people and set interviews via online portals, USC's process moves at a slower pace.
In other words, if you still haven't received an interview, I think there's still a chance!

sigh...they say they are having technical difficulties...they seem a bit disorganized.

Technical difficulties in what sense?

There definitely is, they were sending out invites until early march last year when the app deadline was 5 days earlier. Still, not sure if that's a good thing.
As someone who works with an education company and built out a scheduling system to allow clients to book with our tutors, it's REALLY straightforward (and cheap) to do. Considering how time consuming (and thus expensive it is) to manually book interviews, I can't fathom why Marshall hasn't implemented an online scheduling system yet.
I received an invite at 3:26pm pst so there is deeeeeeefinitely hope out there. I was not given a choice on the day (Saturday the 28th) but I know someone else is interviewing on March 7th.
But interviewing 50% of applicants? My understanding was that it was much lower, especially since they are understaffed...but that is pure speculation from other chat groups.

What are your stats?
If you look at the trend for the two previous years, about 50% of all applicants were interviewed. It's worth bearing in mind that their notification date isn't a notification date in the sense other schools use it. It can notify you of an interview, acceptance, wait list or rejection. So they have more wiggle room.
For USC, do you have to be interviewed to be accepted? Or is there a chance for me, with no interview invitation, to be accepted outright. Thank you

I would imagine that, like all schools, you have to be interviewed in order to be admitted. I also know, however, that Marshall is definitely still sending out interview invites, so if you haven't yet received one, there is still time.

Good luck to all with pending interviews. Here's my interview debrief:
1.) Straight away questions about my company, type of projects, current project details. 2.) What will your team say about you and your leadership style? 3.) Why MBA? 4.) Why Marshall? 5.) What are your weaknesses? 6.) What misconcepton people have about you?
Ended with me asking questions. Lasted about 35 mins.

Good news for everyone - I had my interview yesterday with an admissions director who said she was still sending out interview invites, and because of that, decisions will be released anywhere from March 15 - April 1st. the interview was also really laid back. I had prepared a bunch of answers to questions, and she didn't ask any of them!

Well, I guess that's something to cling on to. Not really holding out much hope at this point though.

Great news guys! I received the interview invite today. I am from Rio de Janeiro - Brazil and I will probably choose the skype option! They gave me some options from march - 12 to march - 20.
