Yeah I wouldn't read into it- decisions aren't released on a rolling basis.

Hi guys...is anyone done with their interview?? Can you share which format Darden used to interview?? The normal 'question-answer one' or the 'Tell me your full story one', which many from the Class of 2016 had?

Interviewed yesterday (Adcom on Skype) -- Ran 30 mins
-- Tell me about yourself, your childhood, your family and your journey so far?
-- Why MBA and how does darden fit into the picture?
-- What are your goals?
-- Anything else you want to add?
-- Any questions for me

// No "tell me about a time when ..." questions were asked which was very surprising for me.

My interview was pretty much exactly what you would expect. At the beginning, I was given around 15 minutes to tell my story. I went from where I grew up and why I chose my college to why I'm leaving my current job and what I want to do with my career. After that, I had a few easy questions - "Why do you need an MBA? How will you get involved? What do you do for fun? How did you impact a team or deal with a difficult team member?"

The tone was very conversational. Absolutely no pressure, and on the one question that I had a bit of a false start, I was encouraged with a follow up question.

Had my interview last friday, was really realxed and conversational, although not as open as many of the last year reports stated.
Either way, many of your typical Why MBA, Why Darden, research process, type of questions.

So I keep wondering the same thing for R1... But, looking at last year, 40% of the members of GMAT Club were either invited to interview or interviewed. This year, per the updates on page 1, only 20% so far. I realize not everyone updates their profile in a timely manner, but I imagine more are coming. A difference of 20% is far too great to brush off as an anomaly.

*** For that matter, if you have not updated your status, please do so in order for others to have a better idea of where the process stands. This is especially useful for Darden with it's rolling interview invites! ***

Had interview today. On campus but with second year student. As described by others... blind, not even a resume. Tell your story, answer questions about why Darden, example of teamwork, example of conflict resolution, how would you be involved in school, etc.

Also had a class visit, and was very impressed by the professor. Definitely a unique culture at Darden, I highly recommend a visit for any who can swing it, as it may be a great fit for some and perhaps not for others.

Best of luck to all!
