It is mentioned in the IMD application that the recommender mail id should be professional (not Gmail), but in my case, my recommender didn’t have one, so I added her Gmail ID while filling out the application, but she hasn’t received any mail from IMD. Also, now I cannot edit the recommender details. I contacted IMD regarding this issue through a portal in their website two times, but haven’t received anything from them in more than 10 days.
That's annoying, I'm not sure what their official policy is on gmails but it's definitely discouraged because there's really no way to collaborate who that person is with a Gmail. I would make sure that any recommender you have submitting a Gmail address has a very well-established LinkedIn profile. if they have a new job it would be a lot better for them to submit it under their new professional address. If they're submitting under Gmail it basically says they are unemployed which kind of diminishes the quality of their input. sending over the e-mail of someone who might reply to you. Could you give
