Ouch, sorry to hear that. Do you have a sense why? You seem to have solid stats and from Germany.

My current location is Germany. I am from the Indian IT Male pool. So not surprised. :) It was one of my best applications though... :(

Congrats to those who have been invited to interview and good luck to those who are still waiting up for the invite. INSEAD application is the first on my list. 8 essays altogether is not an easy task. It feels like I have poured all my life, including my fears and hopes, on paper, and I feel naked.

Dinged.

Received email from Carol Therese.

Its ironic how all the B-schools stress upon candidates to be open in their profile in the application but when at the same do not offer the reason for rejecting a candidate. At that time, it is part of their school policy not to disclose the reason. How will a rejected candidate get to improve on its profile and pursue his/her dream of getting into top B-schools if these things are not disclosed.

Oh well, sucks to be dinged.

I belong to the over-representative pool of Indian male. I have been in US for 7 years now with few international assignments in Europe/S. America. I work as a manager in one of the big4 advisory firms. GMAT is not so great: 680 (Q47, V37).

Good luck to those still in running!

Friends, Brothers/Sisters, i can confirm that dings arent the only decisions that are reserved until the end. I got my pre-selection invite just an hour ago. Carol Therese was my coordinator. This is what the email said:

Dear xxx,

I have the pleasure of informing you that your application has been processed for the Class of July 2015 Round 1, starting in September 2014, and I am very pleased to let you know that you have been pre-selected for interview.

I ask for your continued patience, while we organise your interview(s) in your country of residence. Once we select the Alumni who will conduct your interviews, you will receive the contact details via e-mail.

If you are not currently living at your preferred mailing address mentioned in your application details, please tell me immediately, so that I can organise your interviews in the correct country/town.

In the meantime, I thank you very much for your patience while waiting for our next communication.

Regards

Carol
