Hey, look on the bright side, at least you got waitlisted for Darden. I didn't even hear from them at all. Good luck on getting off the waitlist, and nothing is final yet, so keep your fingers crossed.

I know as a NC tax payer, I would feel the same but hope is not lost. You can be waitlisted and you have other great admits to great programs. Maybe its in your path to get out of NC perspective for MBA. Best of luck in your applications and remember there is always something better waiting for you!!

I did but obviously some of the other people who got off the waitlist got emails. I think it depends on who your interviewer was...

A lot of them actually..A few from India and China as far as I have seen. Go through the posts since 14.3.14 till now. You will get an idea.

Thanks! I know I was being petulant and whiny, it's just hard not to take these dings personally, particularly after spending so much time on this app. And my interviewer made it sound like I was a shoo-in. I guess they say the same thing to everyone... Congrats and good luck to you!

Hi thefinancelady,

I know how you feel about the dings/WL results. But this process is going to prepare all of us for the recruiting cycle where the decisions are even more competitive. Use all of these results as fuel for the next process. That is my plan... I have a feeling that those of us who take time to post on these boards will end up ok in the end.

do rejected/wait-listed applicants get the decision notification mail.. i'm tired of checking my online application every 30 minutes

Yes they do.. But the mail arrives a little later.. The online application is updated first.. At least that was what happened to me in R2..
